Welcome upon your arrival at Marrakech-Menara airport and transfer to your Riad. Check-in and free time to discover the most visited city in the country, its sumptuous decor with glowing colors and its very special atmosphere. You will be dizzy as what you will see is wonderful. The Jemaa el Fna Square, a true « court of miracles », the Majorelle garden and its Moorish fountains, those of the Menara composed of the imperial basin and centuries-old olive trees, the Bahia palace... Night at the Riad.
Breakfast then departure to the deep south of Morocco towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, you will pass the highest pass in North Africa (2260 m) which will offer you a striking panoramic view of the High Atlas, before arriving at the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. The latter is a sublime apparition, with dwellings on the hillsides, made of adobe and glued to each other. You will then drive along the largest Moroccan river until your arrival in Zagora where you will enjoy an unforgettable camel ride in the desert as the sun sets. Settling in the bivouac and traditional dinner enlivened by Berber musicians. An evening worthy of the Arabian Nights. Night in the desert.
Breakfast then departure from the bivouac by camel to Ouarzazate. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the middle of the day, enjoy this afternoon to discover the city. Known for its hospitality, this city oscillates between tradition and modernity, rural life and city life. A striking blend of oases, kasbahs and flourishing valleys. Thanks to its exceptional luminosity and breathtaking natural settings, the cinema industry has fallen in love with Ouarzazate. Movies like Lawrence of Arabia, The Sheltering Sky, or Gladiator have set up their scenery there, and historical reconstructions for TV series follow one another. Breakfast then free morning. Stroll completely freely in the Ouarzazate palm grove, relax by the pool, take the opportunity to visit the Fint oasis, a lush green setting still preserved from mass tourism. The green Fint valley enclosed between its arid mountains, is dotted with numerous palm groves, carefully cultivated gardens, villages of traditional adobe houses perfectly integrated into the scenery...
